Salvatore ehf. (“we”, “us”, “our”) publishes Toddler Soundboards, a soundboard app for iPad designed for toddlers and young children. We built this app with your child’s privacy as the foundation, not an afterthought.
We collect no data. None.
This is the most important section of this policy:
- We do not collect any personal information. Not names, not email addresses, not phone numbers, not your child’s age — nothing.
- We do not track usage. No analytics SDKs, no telemetry, no event reporting.
- We do not collect device identifiers. No IDFA, no advertising ID, no device fingerprinting.
- We do not collect location data.
- We do not access photos, contacts, files, microphone, camera, or any other device sensors.
- We do not request any iOS permissions beyond playing audio through the iPad’s speakers.
- We do not send any data to any server through our app. The app runs entirely offline once installed.
The only network activity related to this app is when iOS itself communicates with Apple’s App Store and StoreKit servers — for example, to deliver the app, to confirm an In-App Purchase, or to enable Family Sharing. That communication is operated by Apple, not by us, and is governed by Apple’s privacy policy.
Third-party services
Toddler Soundboards contains no third-party software development kits (SDKs) of any kind. There are no analytics services, no advertising networks, no social media plugins, and no remote logging. The app is built using only Apple’s own frameworks (SwiftUI, AVFoundation, and StoreKit 2) and Salvatore ehf.’s own code.
The app’s PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy manifest, which is bundled with the app and audited by Apple’s submission process, declares no tracking and no data collection. This manifest is publicly verifiable.
In-App Purchases
If you choose to purchase Full Access — a single, one-time, non-consumable purchase that unlocks every premium soundboard — the transaction is handled entirely by Apple. We do not see, receive, or store any payment details. We receive only an anonymous purchase receipt confirming that the purchase was made, which the app uses to unlock the premium content on your device.
The purchase is shared with your Family Sharing group through Apple’s standard mechanism, and we do not receive any information about other members of your family.
Children’s privacy
Toddler Soundboards is explicitly designed for young children — typically aged 2 to 5 — and is rated 4+ on the App Store. It is part of Apple’s Kids Category.
Because we collect no information from anyone, we collect no information from children. This is by design and is how we ensure compliance with:
- The Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) in the United States
- The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the additional protections for children (“GDPR-K”) in the European Union and the United Kingdom
- Any equivalent children’s privacy regulation in any jurisdiction where Toddler Soundboards is available

Parental gate
Before any purchase can be initiated from within the app, the user must solve a simple math problem (for example, “3 + 4 = ?”) that a young child cannot solve. This parental gate prevents children from accidentally triggering In-App Purchases. The result of the math problem is never recorded, transmitted, or stored.
Data storage
There is no personal data to store. The app does not maintain any persistent storage of personal information on the device.
The only state the app keeps is whether you have purchased Full Access — and that state is managed by Apple’s StoreKit framework on the device, not by us. We never write any data of our own to your device’s storage.
Cookies and tracking technologies
The app does not use cookies, web beacons, pixels, or any tracking technologies. There is no embedded web view, and no remote content is loaded by the app at any time.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change this policy, we will update the “Effective date” at the top of this page and publish the revised policy at this same URL. We have no plans to change our privacy practices — Toddler Soundboards was designed from day one to remain completely privacy-respecting, and we intend to keep it that way.
